- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-timers accepted; one year of critical care/ICU experience or Level I Trauma Center PACU experience required 2. Cases: Preoperative, Phase I and Phase II care; must be able to do pre-op and post-op; 85% same day surgery; surgical services include Neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, colorectal, GYN, orthopedics, trauma, transplant, cardiothoracic, hepatobiliary, vascular, endoscopy, interventional radiology, and urology 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; TNCC preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (confirm at submission) 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: M-F, 9:00-19:30 mixing in some 10:00-20:30; 24 hours of call per 6-week scheduling period; no weekends, no holidays, closed nights; guaranteed 40 hours; no block schedule accommodated 8. RTO: No more than 7 days; pre-approved time off limited to one period 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11.
