- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 2 years PACU in Level I Trauma required (hardstop); ICU/critical care required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Post cardiac surgery, lobectomy, chest trauma, ex-lap and splenectomy, and trauma patients required. Surgical recovery includes Neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant. Does NOT recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants. 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN and TNCC preferred; must pass Relias EKG exam 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 0730-1800, 4x10-hour days in PACU for IR; no weekends, no call, no holidays; unit open 24/7; night shift expected to pre-op patients for first cases from 0530-0730 when no PACU patients are present 8. RTO: No more than 7 days; no holidays approved 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11.
