- Unit Notes:Med Sol completes a profile review need 2 sup refs (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12 mo. & 1 w/in 3 years worked Copy of the DL is needed at time of submittal to validate legal name - Pulse must reflect the name on a gov't issued ID - no middle initial or middle name Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. ***PRIOR TO SIGNING , THE DYS EXAM THROUGH UNA IS REQ & MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 24-48 HRS. THEY GET 2 ATTEMPTS TO SCORE 80%. A SCREENSHOT SHOWING THE # OF ATTEMPTS IS REQ. ***If your traveler fails the 2nd attempt, they will be made DNU for CommonSpirit AZ and Sac for 6 mo Unit: PACU (Main) - # beds: 8 PACU and 7 Pre - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS - Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 - EMR: Cerner - Charge Nurse: Yes - Nurse Aides: No - Weekend Requirement: No in-house staff on weekends, Call only. - Holidays: Rotate in with core staff - Scrub Color: Provided. - Tele: Yes, must be able to read and interpret EKG strips. - Vents: No - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes - IV Team: Available if necessary - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Call specifics: - Shifts: Varied 12s (any day M-F) and start times vary from 0500 to 0930 - Call: Roughly 5 weekend call shifts & 8 weeknight shifts per quarter. Weeknights: 2200-0500 or 2200-0700. Weekends: 0700-1900 or 1900-0700 - Floating: Possible between Main and OPSC, as needed - Floor specific orientation: 1 - 2 days in PACU with preceptor. - Common diagnosis /Types of patients: Total hips/knees, general, daVinci, neuro, urology. - Required experience: They will need acute recovery experience - Additional Notes: Not a trauma hospital. PACU may have ICU patients until beds open up in the unit. Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:Varied (any day M-F) start times vary from 0500 to 0930 + req call.
