- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required in ER, ICU, or PACU; Previous Charge experience preferred 2. Cases: Pre-Op and PACU combined unit; surgical services include Bariatrics, Cardio Thoracic, General, GYN, GYN-Onc, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Vascular, and Endovascular; busy Robotic program (6 Robots) and Ortho total joint program; majority of cases scheduled as add-on; may recover IRL, EP, Cath, pulm, CT/MRI patients if off hours or recovery area is full 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (standard requirement) 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic proficiency required 7. Shifts/Call: 3/12s, Days, Variable starts; Pre-Op starts at 0500, PACU starts 0800/0900/1000 weekdays; weekends 4 RNs (2 at 0600, 2 at 0800); Night shifts Mon-Thu 2000-0430 (10 positions only), weekends 12-hour 1800 start; Call required 2-3 shifts per month with 30-minute callback; call shifts weekdays 2200-0500, weekends 12-hour 0600 and 1800 starts; all RNs required to take call unless working a night or weekend off-shift position as regular shift 8. RTO: 2 requests off per contract accepted; only one holiday approved 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No first-time travelers; travelers are first to float; may be asked to float to another facility of the same specialty 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Epic proficiency is mandatory. No first-time travelers accepted. Call is required for all staff unless working a permanent night or weekend off-shift position.
