- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; strong ICU/PACU experience required; critical care background required 2. Cases: Pre/post operative care with varied surgical patient populations including Transplant, Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, ENT, Trauma, Neurosurgery, Thoracic Surgery, Cath/EP Lab, Interventional Radiology, General Surgery, Emergency General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Urology, and Vascular; special procedures include Stroke, Kidney/Pancreas Transplant, DIEP Flaps, TAVRs, Mitral Clips, Watchman, gender affirmation surgery, and Whipples 3. Certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS required; traveler must pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start 4. License: RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Day/Evening 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday; start time ranges between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; 1-2 weekend on-call shifts during the assignment (day or night based on department needs); no scheduled weekends, one on-call weekend per contract; orientation is 50 hours 8.
