- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Experience getting surgical patients ready for surgery and providing Phase 2 recovery required; IV start skills and moderate sedation experience required 2. Cases: Surgical patients (Preop/Holding and Day Surgery); procedures include nerve blocks, arterial lines, central lines, Swan 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-hour shifts; would consider 4x10-hour shifts; one closing day per week (stay until unit closes); shift starts at 5, 5:30, 6, 6:30, or 7 AM depending on surgery schedule; closing days start at 7:00 AM until last patient leaves; time paid after 7:00 PM on closing day 8.
