- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of direct RN OR experience required; 18 months minimum, 2 years preferred; strong robotics, ortho & neuro experience required 2. Cases: Extensive list including robotics (Da Vinci Xi, colorectal, gynecologic, neurological, orthopedic, urologic), orthopedic (total joint replacement, spinal fusions), neuro (craniotomy, laminectomy), and various surgical specialties 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required at time of submittal; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start; no pending certs accepted 4. License: Pending license accepted; facility does not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 1 on-call shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month; 36 hours guaranteed for 3x12s, 40 hours for 8/10s 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission only; facility will not review RTO submitted after 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits 12. Modules: 6-15 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start and annually via SilkRoad; time-sensitive modules must be prioritized first 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Mako Surgical System, Hana Table, Steris, various surgical equipment Critical: Smoke-free facility - all travelers must be nicotine free with negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen. EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum. Two references from direct supervisor required. Teaching facility participation required. Strict DO NOT call policy.
