- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first time travelers allowed 2. Cases: Level II Trauma Center procedures including Ortho, Neuro, CV/Vascular, Da Vinci Robotics, General, Urology, GYN, Dental, ENT, Plastics, Eyes, Trauma 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, CNOR; all certifications must be provided at submission 4. License: Oregon RN license NOT required at submission (pending okay); Oregon CNA license must be in hand at submission; Nursys/CNA license copy required (PDF format, dated within last 30 days) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 hour variable shifts; weekday scheduled shifts 10-12 hours with variable start times; weekday night call shifts 8 hours (2300-0700); weekend scheduled and call shifts 10/12 hours; up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend shifts per 6-week schedule 8. RTO: Must be finalized at time of submittal; only one pre-approved time off; additional RTO requests after submittal may result in removal from consideration 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees may not submit to travel positions for six months after employment termination date 10. Travel/Local: Candidates may float within hospital or to West Valley Hospital (15 minutes away); refusing to float may result in contract cancellation 11. Background: License/background hits require detailed written statement; reviewed case-by-case; ineligible for 90-day temp license waiver 12.
