Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for OR RN 2. Cases: All surgical cases except transplants/open heart, includes robotics; high volume of orthopedic cases, particularly total joints 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), PALS required; certificates required at time of submittal 4. License: Valid CA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech documentation experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Day shift 3x12s, 0630-1900; on call required every third weekend, 4-5 days per month (2-3 weeknights and 1-2 weekend days per month), 0700-1900 or 1900-0700 8. RTO: Single set of RTO up to 7 consecutive days will be considered; always needs facility approval 9. Returning Staff: If previous perm traveler, 1 year gap required and needs facility approval 10. Travel/Local: No locals within 50 miles; travelers within 50 miles not accepted 11. Background: Candidates with license hits accepted case by case; facility will review and should be informed with submission 12. Modules: Modules are not required 13. Travel Experience: Required; no first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Circulate experience required, scrub experience preferred. Labs must be completed within 24 hours of signing contract. 2 supervisor references preferred. COVID-19 vaccine required plus booster.
