- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; Trauma Level I required (minimum 1 year in Level I Trauma accepted if screening exceeds 2 years) 2. Cases: GEN, Plastic, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, Colorectal Robotics; must be well-rounded except CV and Transplant; Circulate required, Scrub preferred; Core 6 Mids/Nights/Weekends must have 3 of 4: Neuro, Ortho GEN, Plastic, GYN, ENT, GU, Trauma, Robotics 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS noted (asterisked); in-hand at time of submission 4. License: Indiana in-state license required and must be in hand at submission; pending license not accepted; NOTE: Effective 11/30/24, IN RNs cannot work at IU Health facilities EXCEPT Periop/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Call required; 6 call shifts per 6-week period (can vary); holidays required; no block scheduling; Monday-Friday with call and/or holidays; weekend-only position also available 8. RTO: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; $15 off bill rate for travelers residing within the state of Indiana 11.
