Travel Nurse (RN) OR (Operating Room) Falls Church, VA

$2,289 to $2,539 weekly

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Local RN – OR

Shift: Variable Days / 7a-3:30p, 7a-7:30p, 8’s, 12’s, 40 hrs/week, rotate to nights PRN
Length: 16 weeks

Weekend Requirement- Sat or Sunday: 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period

Call: 3-4 weekday, 3-4 weekend shifts (4 hours) in 6-week schedule

Holiday/Night rotation as needed by unit

Holidays- at least 1 holiday

Requirements:

• VA license
• 2 years experience – Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required
• Travel experience (at least 1-2 assignments): cannot be first travel assignment
• AHA BLS
• Neonate & pediatric experience is preferred, as well as trauma experience

Other Details:

• EMR- Epic
• 28 OR Rooms
• Cases- 70-85 cases per day
• Weekend: 7 – 8 ORs on Saturday, 5 – 6 ORs on a Sunday – Mostly urgent cases and some scheduled on weekends
• OR runs 24/7 365, Service Lines: Ortho including total joints, OTT; Adults and peds; General surgery cases; Robotics; organ transplants (kidney); ENT, Oral/Maxillofacial, Vascular/Thoracic, Urology, Pediatrics
