- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of Ambulatory and OR experience required; Total Joint experience is a hard stop requirement 2. Cases: Total Joint experience required 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; AHA or American Red Cross only; copy of license or cert required at submission 4. License: Valid permanent California license must be in hand at time of submission; temp RN/LVN licenses not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour shifts between 0600-1700; occasional weekends required; no on-call; no floating; no scheduling requests can be accommodated 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; no RTO within first 2 weeks of assignment; must be included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent employees must be separated for 24 months before eligible for travel positions at all Cedars-Sinai facilities (12 months for CSMN); all past Cedars employment must be included on profile; applies to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cedars Marina Del Rey, Torrance Memorial, CSMN, Huntington Health Physicians, and Huntington Hospital 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; reduced local rate applies for MAs and LVNs only 11. Background: Any license or background hit requires a detailed written statement; reviewed case-by-case; open or pending hits are an automatic redirect — all hits must be completely closed 12.
