If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.* All clinicians must badge in and out at facility Scrubs: *Provided* Ceil Blue *This location does not accept local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles* Looking for RNs experienced in orthopedic procedures: Knee and Hip Arthroplasties, Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopies, Open reduction internal fixation of all bones, Hip Nailing procedures, ACL repairs, Carpel Tunnel Releases, Tendon repairs, General, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, and Plastics procedures. *Would be required to work at the main hospital surgery center and the outpatient surgery center which is across the street. Name of Position Requirements Does this candidate require time off during the assignment? If yes, please put dates in the comments section. BLS Certification 2 years experience Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Computerized charting (EPIC), Most of the equipment we use for orthopedics is from the following companies- Zimmer/Biomet, Synthes, and Arthrex. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) BLS required Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Would be required to work at our main hospital surgery center and our outpatient surgery center which is across the street. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 12 OR s at main hospital and 6 OR s at outpatient surgery center Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1:1 Dress Code: Appropriate attire- will have scrubs that they can change into Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Our Unit consists of all surgery specialties: CV, Neuro, General, Ortho, Plastics, OB/GYN, Robotic, ENT, and Urology. We are busy unit that ranges in around 40 to 60 procedures a day. Orientation is a week. We will have them work closely with a preceptor for that week. Preference cards for surgical procedures are very thorough and up to date. We work very closely with our vendors for our orthopedic procedures. They are usually in the room for most orthopedic procedures. Fun unit with a lot of personality. Surgeons are really good to work with. Cancellation Policy:Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes, willing to wait Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:8 hour shifts Monday thru Friday. Call once a week, and every 5-6 weekends. Required Certifications:BLS (AHA)
