- Unit Notes:Department: OR RN *Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS* **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** - # Suites: 6 OR/ 2 GI - Average # of cases per day: 12 - Common Cases: Total Joints, ORIFs, Tendon Repairs, Hernia, Cholecystectomy, Appendectomy, Robotic Bowel Resection, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Tonsil and Adenoids-peds, (Cataracts, Blepharoplasty). - Experience or 'Must have' skills: General Surgery, Ortho: totals, Robotics, GI experience preferred. 3 years of OR experience. Ok with duos if they have previous travel. Must have prior travel. Willing to teach eyes. - Scrubbing required: Preferred, not required - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge- mostly managing department - OR techs: Yes - EMR: Cerner - Shifts & Scheduling: Monday thru Thursday 0630-1700. - Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1 night per week whenever cases end- until 0630a the following day. On call is 1 RN and 1 Tech and CRNA. - Weekend/Call Requirements: Friday 630p- 630a Monday, every 3rd to 4th weekend. - Holiday/Call Requirements: Will discuss preferences, travelers expected to work majority of holidays 2 of 3 for winter. - What is call response time?: 30 minutes. - Floating Requirements: Occasionally will be offered opportunity to float to ED, MS or LTC for helping hands depending on comfort level. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Gray scrubs, provided by facility. - Unit/Department specific orientation: Up to 4 shifts- including cataracts *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield.
