- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; previous charge experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred 2. Cases: Must be proficient in Surgical Services including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic; average 40 cases per day 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS noted (asterisked); 16-hour Maryland approved trauma course required by 27th week; 8-hour annual trauma CEUs required 4. License: OR RN; Maryland position (Sinai Hospital) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 11a-7:30p shift; call required per unit needs; weekend coverage required; 40 orientation hours; patient ratio 1:1 days, nights, and weekends 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off allowed 9.
