- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; first-time travelers not accepted 2. Cases: Inpatient L&D PACU; adults to geriatrics 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; copies required at submission 4. License: GA RN license or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; Pyxis and SBAR also used 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; call requirements not specified 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite; RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th); if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10.
