- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year circulator experience in intraoperative setting required; first-timers accepted 2. Cases: Retina surgery, total hip/knees, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, Lap Chole, hernia repairs, podiatry 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS listed in skills 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic and Pyxis systems 7. Shifts/Call: (4) 9-hour shifts with varied times; no call but may need to stay based on dot/double dot system 8. RTO: MAX 7 days; blackout dates Spring Break (April 4th-12th) 9. Returning Staff: Must be away 1 full year from all Piedmont facilities; if unable to return to one facility, complete successful assignment outside Piedmont first 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Cell saver, laser safety, radiation safety equipment mentioned in skills Critical: Must submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract.
