- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (3 preferred with experience in surgical procedures outlined in unit description); first-time travelers not accepted 2. Cases: ENT, General, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics (General, GYN, Urology - Da Vinci Xi), Spine, Total Joints, Urology, Vascular, and CABG/Open Hearts. Outpatient Surgery Center cases include ENT, General, GYN, Ophthalmology, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology. Extensive skills list required — do not pass clinician if missing required skills or experience. 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS preferred. Copies should be AHA or American Red Cross standard (per general policy). 4. License: Pending license not accepted; valid state license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour variable shifts, Sunday-Saturday coverage. Shift times include 0630-1900, 0630-1900 with on-call 1900-2300, 0930-2200, and 1030-2300 with on-call 2300-0700. Weekend and holiday call required. On-call estimated at 70-90 hours per 6-week period. Facility may call off once per two-week pay period. 8. RTO: RTO must be included at time of submission; no pre-approved time off. Block schedule open per manager discretion. 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
