Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience required; must have MS oncology and at least 1 inpatient hematology oncology experience in work history and checklist; acute care experience must be current and working consistently within the last 12 months in the applying specialty 2. Cases: Primarily acute leukemia patients; high volume of blood products, IV antibiotics, and electrolytes; heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls prevention 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS required, ONS Chemo Certification required; NIHSS preferred; all must be in hand at submission 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour Day/Night rotating or 12-hour Night; self-schedule requests accepted; first week orientation Mon-Fri dayshift; second week 36 hours on-unit with preceptor; float to other MedSurg Oncology units possible 8.
