Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for clinical pass within the 3 most recent years 2. Cases: Oncology experience preferred but not required; Head and Neck cancers, Neuro-oncology, Brain tumors 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, NIHSS, OCN also listed 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12D/N rotating contract with days, nights, or combination based on department needs; may be scheduled for any shift type every 4-week period 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: First week orientation Mon-Fri dayshift; second week 36hrs on-unit orientation with preceptor; 72 total orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds Critical: Must complete fingerprints immediately after signing contract. Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start. Float required to other MedSurg Oncology units. Patient ratio 1:5. Skills include IV starts, tele, tracheostomy management.
