Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Cellular therapies (stem cell/CART) preferred; early phase clinical trials and leukemia population 3. Certifications: BLS required; ONS Chemo/Bio provider card required; copies required with submissions 4. License: VA license accepted pending; must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required unless otherwise noted 7. Shifts/Call: Days either 4x10s (8-18:30 or 9-19:30) or 4x12s (07:00-19:30); every 4th weekend 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; only one pre-approved time off; no additional requests after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform if previously employed at UVA Health system; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of separation; one year separation required for perm staff/internal travelers 10. Travel/Local: This unit does not have 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted for this position 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed during orientation; recorded in Workday; vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: May float to two other local infusion centers but unlikely.
