- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; will consider acute Oncology/Hematology experience 2. Cases: Classical hematology (bleeding disorders/hemophilia/anemias/sickle cell/DVTs); non-malignant hematology only 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ONS, BMTCN, OCN preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required; EPIC Acute Activation User activated in EPIC with hospital-related or blended access 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 Hours (M-F 8a-4:30p); no call, float, or weekend requirements 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (50 miles) accepted at lower rate; will accept first time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Pre-start modules factored into first 24 hrs of NBO; Non-Acute 4-5 hours of modules; must be completed pre-start and annually; conducted online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge 13.
