Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Surgical/Oncology 5S 36’s
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, weekdays, every other weekend
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- WV/Compact License
- 2 Years Experience
- BLS
- ONCC/ONS
- Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
- Skill Requirements: Telemetry; Central Line Draws, Ports, Blood Administration, PCA Pumps, Bone Marrow Aspiration Assist, Pleurx Chest Tubes. Chemotherapy Administration (preferred)

- Charting: Cerner
- Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs
- 100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
- 29 Bed Unit. Adult Population- Medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care and family education of the oncological processes. Urology and Telemetry patients included.
- Ratios: 4-5:1 Patient Ratio (Days); 5-6:1 Patient Ratio (Nights)
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
5S Medical Surgical/Oncology RN
3×12 7p-7a; weekdays, every other weekend, float
*Facility will consider strong candidates without Oncology exp*
**Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays**

Shift Info: 36 or 48hr contract options; Every other weekend required
Certs Required: BLS, ONCC/ONS

Submission Requirements:
Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st – MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
Covid Vaccine NOT required
