Travel Nurse (RN) NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Yakima, WA

$2,178 to $2,428 weekly

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – NICU

Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12×3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: Every other weekend as needed, NO On call 

Requirements:

• WA License
• 3 Years Experience
• BLS
• NRP
• Skills required: good IV Skills, assist with central lines (UAC, PICC, UVC), vent experience, NAS care (eat, sleep, console treatment and morphine & wean) Familiarity with: Bubble CPAP, High flow, nasal cannula, and neo puff; peds experience strongly preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: Epic
• Floating: Mother Baby or possibly other units as 1:1s or NACs
• Consider first-time Traveler yes, with significant NICU experience 
• Patient Types: 26 weeks’ gestation and higher. Bubble CPAP, Ventilator, no oscillators.
• Patient Ratios: 1:1-3 (dependent on acuity)
• 226 total bed non-profit community hospital with 15 beds in level III NICU
