- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of NICU IV experience required; first-time travelers not accepted 2. Cases: NICU Level IV; recent Trach and Vent experience required; ECMO, congenital heart defects, respiratory distress, pulmonary hypertension, renal disorders, sepsis and septic shock; PICU experience preferred due to floating 3. Certifications: BLS required; NRP and PALS noted; must be current 4. License: Pending license accepted for submittal only; must provide date of application and application/pending number; license must be issued prior to start date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner; listed as preferred experience 7. Shifts/Call: Day/Night rotating every 3-4 weeks; facility will attempt straight shifts but cannot guarantee; no on-call required; every other weekend; every other holiday; guaranteed 36 hours, open to 48 hours with no OT until after 48 hours; missed shifts must be made up within the same week 8. RTO: No more than 1 week; if a full week is missed, must be made up at end of contract; no more than 7 days RTO 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; no travel radius specified 11. Background: No background hits or license hits allowed; no exemptions accepted 12. Modules: Not specified 13.
