- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; helicopter and ambulance transport experience required 2. Cases: NICU/PEDS transport; 4-8 transports per day; patient diagnoses include prematurity, HIE, RDS, hyperbili, asthma, appendicitis, respiratory distress, other acute pediatric 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS required 4. License: FL license or compact license required at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner charting experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Weekend coverage required; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; 1:1 patient ratios 8. RTO: No RTO allowed in contracts 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait at least 1 year before returning; return travelers only allowed in ICU, MICU, CVICU, ED, PCU, and MS/Tele specialties; must have completed contract within last year since 7/1/2022 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius rule; traveler must live at least 100 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12.
