- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: NICU patients; neonates 29+ weeks; NICU III, NICU IV; patients under age 2 when floating to pedi units 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP required 4. License: Valid WA or Compact RN license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; will screen if candidate doesn't have Epic experience 7. Shifts/Call: Weekends required (every other or as needed); no on-call; patient ratios 1:3 days/nights/weekends 8. RTO: Must be listed at time of submittal; post-submission RTO will NOT be approved 9. Returning Staff: Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler; must disclose previous Providence employment history 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 16 hours average, completed pre-start and annually; non-billable; over 20 hours requires PM approval; self-reported completion 13. Travel Experience: Not required (1st timers OK) 14.
