The majority of the patients are very low birth weight premies requiring ventilatory support. New state of the art unit. Guaranteed Hours: In the event of low census Healthcare Providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) in 4 hour increments up to 1 shifts worth of hours in a 2 week cycle. For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, Hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods. We provide high level ongoing care through discharge for the critically ill and extremely low birth weight infants. The unit stabilizes and delivers all infants and specializes in very low birth weight preemies 22 weeks and up many requiring ventilatory support. 43 rooms, single room care with 4 rooms having capacity for multiples. Applicants need to have Level 3-4 NICU experience, level 2 is NOT sufficient. Special Procedures/Unit Details : PREFER: Low birth weight Applicants need to have Level 3-4 NICU experience, level 2 is NOT sufficient Infant Security System is RFI, Locked unit Special Equipment : 3 incubator types- Giraffe, Drager, and Atom Alaris pumps Feeding pumps Jet Ventilator, the Drager conventional vent and occasionally the Oscillator Bubble CPAP frequent Non-invasive NAVA (travelers usually not assigned but is preferred skill) #Tier1 Travel Compliance Compliance deadline is 3 business days prior to start RTO Minimal, cannot accommodate RTO during first 2 weeks Submit 3 jobs max Locals accepted, same Bill Rate Candidates float within hospital EPIC experience required Background: Disclose any hits when subbed Prior UW staff: 18 months separation required References: 2 Required at submittal.
