- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years Level III NICU experience required; VMS notes list 1 year minimum 2. Cases: NICU III, NICU IV, Neonates < 24-28 weeks, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, IV vasopressors, Surfactants, Steroids, UAC, UVC, Arterial line management, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Isolation Precautions/PPE 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP required 4. License: Pending license noted; state-specific license implied for Oregon facilities 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Weekends required every other; on-call required as agreed upon by RN; 48-hour shifts approved; self-scheduling; floats within division (NICU babies only); may float to other units and facilities per PH&S needs 8.
