- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 3 years required in a Level 3 or 4 ICN; do not submit if less than 3 years of NICU experience 2. Cases: Premature infants (as low as 22 weeks), all types of surgical infants, hypoxic injury; skills required include vents experience, bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, UAC/UVC, therapeutic hypothermia, tracheostomy care, IV vasopressors, central line blood draw, sepsis work up, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) 3. Certifications: BLS and NRP required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights only (18:45-07:15); 36 hours per week only; no call requirement; float to Peds/PICU/nursery caring for infants up to and including 12 months; weekend requirement of 3 Fridays, 3 Saturdays, and 3 Sundays per 6-week period; self-scheduling per unit needs; patient ratios 1:2-4 8. RTO: 7 days max for AYA Auto Offer; RTO after booking is NOT allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; any call-offs or additional RTO could result in a cancel and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; rate difference applies; unit will accept first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12.
