- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required in specialty; experience must be within last 12 months 2. Cases: Will work Special Care Nursery Level II and NICU as needed; experience in attending deliveries preferred 3. Certifications: BLS and NRP required; must be in hand at submission; cannot expire within 30 days of start date 4. License: Active NJ or Compact License required; Nursys must be within 2 weeks of submittal date; pending licenses not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: EOW/EOH required; patient ratio 1:2; block scheduling not allowed 8. RTO: Due at time of submission; RTO after submission not accepted; no RTO within first week of start date; travelers with 4 days or less RTO prioritized 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Local rate is $5 less for those within 50 miles; any clinician within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: First time traveler accepted but not preferred 14.
