- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Peds experience required; trach/vent experience required; NICU experience is a hard stop — do not screen candidates without it 3. Certifications: BLS and CPI required; ACLS preferred; copies should be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: RN Maryland state license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 alternating day/night (0700-1930 and 1900-0730); every other weekend required; holidays required as they fall; floating required within specialty/sister units as needed; on-call not required 8. Special Equipment: Trach/vents, PICCs/central lines, TPN/IL Critical: Clinicians must have experience with peds and trach/vent. NICU experience is a hard stop — do not screen candidates who lack it. Patient age groups include neonates, infants, and pediatrics. Patient diagnoses include prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS. Patient ratio is 1:3, up to 4 with lower acuity. Start date is 8/31/2026 for a 13-week contract.
