- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required, at least 1 year in specialty; first-timers not accepted 2. Cases: Level 3 NICU experience required (hard stop); prematurity, feeders and growers, RDS, NAS, sepsis, hypoglycemia, jaundice 3. Certifications: BCLS, NRP, PALS required; will allow NRP if willing to get advanced before start 4. License: CA RN License required, must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend, may exceed to meet unit needs; no on-call required; no floating between like units 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission, approval based on facility needs; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays; 7-day offer window 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility employment with locations and dates 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: 16 hours average, non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; self-reported via Workramp transcripts; over 20 hours requires PM approval 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience required; all travelers expected to float between facilities within state 14. Scrubs: RNs wear navy blue; L&D/OR provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: CPAP, BIPAP, smart pumps, feeding pumps, isolettes, warmers, high frequency vents/oscillators Critical: LA fire card within last 30 days required. Patient ratios 2-3, up to 1-3 by acuity. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. May float to Mother/Baby for babies.
