- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years required 2. Cases: Total Joint Replacement, General Surgery, COPD, Diabetes, Dementia, Dialysis, Stroke, NSTEMI, CHF, A-Fib; must have experience with IVs, NGs, PICC & Central Line Care, Catheter Care, Post-op surgical care (general surgery, total knee & hip replacement, hernia repair, colectomy) 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; all required certifications must be obtained prior to start 4. License: RN license required; Kentucky (KY) state license implied by facility location 5. Education: ADN or BSN required 6. EMR: MedHost 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours weekly guaranteed; every other weekend required; no call requirements; float to step down/med-surg as needed 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel rate; local rate applies otherwise; orientation is weekly on Mondays 11.
