Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required in the last 5 years 2. Cases: Orthopedic trauma, traumatic brain injuries, spine injuries, subdural hematoma, neurological trauma/nerve damage, CVA, pre/post neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries, gen surg overflow 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not explicitly stated in notes); must pass EKG Testing prior to start 4. License: Active RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic documentation experience required; Pyxis and SBAR also used on unit 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights; 36 or 48 hours accepted; every other weekend required; float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatient holding; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster; consolidation to centralized office mid-contract may occur 8. RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation and DNR 9.
