- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required for submission 2. Cases: General medicine with focus on neuro; CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Med/Surg, Telemetry 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS listed; all must be in hand at submission 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; also uses Pyxis and SBAR 7. Shifts/Call: Nights 18:45-7:15; 36 or 48 hours accepted (if 48, OT not billed until after 48 hours); float required, travelers float first; 5-6 weekend shifts per contract (every other weekend); contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster; must pass EKG testing prior to start 8. RTO: 7 days max for AYA Auto Offer; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancel and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; rate difference applies; 1st time travelers accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 24-hour unit orientation 13.
