- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: General medicine with focus on neuro; CVA, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Med/Surg, Telemetry 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; also uses Pyxis and SBAR 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift; 36 or 48 hours accepted (if 48, OT not billed until after 48 hours); 13-26 week contracts accepted; 5-6 weekend shifts per contract (every other weekend); float required, travelers float first; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disasters; consolidation to Centralized Office mid-contract may occur with preassignment to units 8. RTO: 7 days MAX; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; any call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
