Travel Nurse (RN) Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical) West Des Moines, IA

$1,931 to $2,181 weekly

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg – Orthopedic 3- West

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, will accept 48’s

Length: 13 weeks

Holiday rotation; No Call, every other or Every 3rd depending on staffing/census

Requirements:

• IA/Compact License
• 2 years of MS/Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Ortho/Rehab experience
• Experience with types of care:  total joints replacement & braces
• BLS
• EPIC EMR experience
• Experience administering medication specific to cardiac IV/intravenous push preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• 1st time travelers accepted
• When needed, required to float across campuses and like units
• Local Radius rule:  50 miles
• Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist
• Bed Size: 34
• Patient Types: orthopedics, total joint replacements
• Drips: specific cardiac medicine can be given
• Scrubs:  navy blue, solids
• N:P Ratios: Days – 1:5, Nights – 1:6
