- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required (18 months if not otherwise specified) 2. Cases: Oncology and hospice primarily; mixed general floor 3. Certifications: BLS required; Chemo cert preferred; OCN and ONS/ONCC preferred; AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 shifts; every other weekend required; no on-call 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 or less non-holiday days; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restrictions (except OR RN requires 50+ miles) 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start; strict deadlines with 4PM CST Day 1 deadline 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Chemotherapy administration equipment; ports, central lines, PICC lines Critical: Patient ratio 6-7; floating required within hospital or affiliate hospitals; compliance items must be completed within 1 week of signing contract; first day is virtual at-home day for modules.
