- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year inpatient acute care Neuro Surg and Neuro required; willingness for occasional Charge is required 2. Cases: Neuro-surgical patients; stroke, seizures, MS, back/head/spinal and other neurological diagnoses or neurosurgery procedures 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift 7p-7:30a, 4x12; 48 weekly guaranteed hours; weekends as needed; no call requirements; night shift orients on day shift and traveler must be available the entire week for orientation 8. RTO: Up to 5 days per 13 weeks auto-approved; anything more requires leader approval prior to confirmation and time would be asked to be made up at end of assignment; standard expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday required unless otherwise approved by leader prior to confirmation); candidates expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) 9.
