- POSITION: Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING ============================== Shift hours: 3x12s, days, 645a-715p Charting: EPIC experience required Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission. Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks. Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract. Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes Locals Accepted? Return Travelers : Previous employees (both per diem and permanent) must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning to work as a traveler. Carilion leadership will review exceptions to this policy on a case by case basis. *Note: Travelers that end prior to July 1 st will be grandfathered under the previous one-year policy.
