- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years required for submission 2. Cases: Medical-surgical patients with a wide range of diagnoses including CVA, renal failure, post MI, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, bariatric surgery, ortho trauma, total joint replacement, substance withdrawal, and pre/post hemodialysis and neurosurgery, among others 3. Certifications: BCLS/BLS, NIH/NIHSS, and ACLS required; copies of all certifications must be included in the submittal packet 4. License: RN License verification required; Nursys pulled within 2 days of submission date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; charting system experience marked as required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights, weekdays and weekends; facility will only tolerate 2-3 call-offs per contract 8.
