- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years recent experience in Med/Surg required; first-timers not accepted unless 3+ years recent experience 2. Cases: Cardiac Med/Surg including CHF, AMI, post cath lab, PPM placements, ablations; rhythm strip verification, drips at set rate, heparin titration per protocol 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS required (asterisked); must be in compliance with NLC guidelines 4. License: Pending license not accepted; all travelers must comply with NLC guidelines 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift; on-call as needed; weekend coverage required; block schedule not accommodated (weekend block may be considered) 8.
