- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; 1 year listed separately — confirm with account manager. First-time travelers accepted per notes. 2. Cases: Med/Surg with Tele experience preferred but not required. Mixed Peds-Adult unit (infant through adult population); Peds experience not required but willingness to work with Peds is expected. Common diagnoses include CHF, chest pain, pneumonia, COVID, flu, TB, stroke, RSV, post-delivery mother/baby care, respiratory failure, pancreatitis, SBO, and others. 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS and CPI preferred. All certs should be verified as AHA or American Red Cross per standard compliance. 4. License: OK or compact license required. 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred; charting system experience marked as required. 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend coverage required. No call. Float required. Guaranteed 36 hours. Ratio 1:5 days, 1:4 nights/weekends. Blocked schedules are NOT accepted. Must be able to start ASAP. 8. RTO: RTO must be included with submission. No blocked schedules allowed. 9. Returning Staff: Not specified. 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted. 11. Background: Not specified. 12. Modules: Orientation hours listed as 30. 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required; first-time travelers accepted. 14. Scrubs: Blue for nursing. Purple or gray for Respiratory. Surgery and Birth Center provide facility-laundered scrubs. 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required — medical/religious exemptions only. COVID-19 vaccine also required with same exemption policy. 16. Special Equipment: Not specified. Critical: Feeding tube care/management and IV therapy/phlebotomy experience preferred. Pediatric patients are non-critical; unit has CN and house supervisor support for Peds population. Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
