Travel Nurse (RN) Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical) Des Moines, IA

$1,722 to $1,972 weekly

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Local RN- Med/Surg 36’s

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs/week, will accept 48’s

Duration: 13 weeks

holiday rotation; every 3rd weekend; no call

Requirements:

• IA RN License
• 2 years of MS/Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• PCA & heparin experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• AHA BLS
• Post op surgical experience highly preferred
• Patient care experience with hip/knee, mastectomies, abdominal surgeries including Medical Surgical highly preferred

Other Details:

• Unit treats hip/knee, mastectomies, abdominal surgeries; ratio 1:4-5; 30-bed unit
• Drips: PCA, Heparin
• Required to float across campuses/units to like units
• Will consider first-time travelers
• Local radius rule: 50 miles
• Unit has an emotional support canine
