Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg experience required; Stepdown/PCU experience required as travelers will float to PCU unit as needed 2. Cases: Stepdown role that frequently floats to MedSurg and MS/Tele units; must be comfortable doing both; stroke unit; pediatric experience not required (travelers without pediatric experience will not see pediatric patients) 3. Certifications: BCLS and NIHSS required; must be AHA or confirm certification body 4. License: SC (South Carolina) RN License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech required; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Weekdays, every other weekend, float, and holidays as needed; Stepdown ratios 1:4-5, MedSurg 1:5-6; self-scheduling; 24 orientation hours 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must live more than 50 miles from facility; 50-mile radius restriction enforced 11. Background: Facility will not accept any license or background hits 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15.
