Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg experience required; Stepdown/PCU experience also required as nurses will float to PCU unit 2. Cases: Stroke unit; common diagnoses include stroke, hyperglycemia, CPAM, renal failure, Afib, and most medical diagnoses; pediatric experience not required (travelers without pediatric experience will not see pediatric patients) 3. Certifications: BCLS and NIHSS required; copies should be confirmed at submission 4. License: SC (South Carolina) RN License required; facility will not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech required; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Weekdays, every other weekend, float, and holidays as needed; scheduling is self-scheduled; day ratios 1:5, night ratios 1:6, weekend ratios 1:6; orientation is 24 hours 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must live more than 50 miles from facility; 50-mile radius restriction enforced 11.
