- Med Surg- Nights auto offer 36 or 48 hr option- anything over 48 hours is overtime. Floating : Unless specifically stated otherwise, travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit.
