- Unit Notes:Department: LTC RN *Certifications Required: BLS* **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** - Type of Facility: Nursing Home attached to hospital. - # of Beds/Residents: 70, majority private. - EMR: ECS - Ratios: RN's: 1:20. LPN's 1:20. CNA's1:8. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Dementia, frail, elderly, rehabilitation. - Job Duties: Charting, assessments, charge duties, medications, clinical skills such as: IV's, caths, ostomy, etc. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Elderly experience. - Are there IV's or titratable drips?: Yes. - Area there Tele monitors? If so do you have monitor techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips?: No. - Are RN's required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab?: No. - DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes. - Physician availability after hours: Yes. - Interdisciplinary Team: Therapy, Administration, Social workers, Activities, Dietary, Housekeeping. - Is RT on-site 24/7: Yes. - Pharmacy on-site? Medication dispensing system?: Yes. - Shifts & Scheduling: Block schedule 8's, 4 nurses, 7 aides during day/pm, 2 nurses 3-4 aides at NOC. - Weekend Requirements: Every other unless specified. - Holiday Requirements: Must be available for at least half of holidays during assignment. - Call or Standby Requirement: No on call. - Floating Requirements: Yes. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any solid color, clean & professional. - Unit/Department Specific Orientation: Varies on skills. *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield.
