- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; L/D experience x 2 years specifically required for L/D RNs 2. Cases: L/D, OB/GYN with simple med/surge overflow; C/S circulating; PP/GYN; med/surge overflow (hips, knees) 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS required; fetal monitoring class within 2 years required for L/D 4. License: RN (state not explicitly specified) 5. Education: RN prepared 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred; GE Centricity also in use 7. Shifts/Call: L/D nights 7p-7a x2; OB days 7a-7p; 36 hours weekly guaranteed; rotating every other weekend; minimal call; L/D floats only for low census sit or task; PP rotates for low census 8.
